WOMEN OF PURPOSE AND POWER: STEPPING BOLDLY INTO YOUR GOD-GIVEN CALLING

empowerher kingdom chat Aug 21, 2025

Have you ever felt like life has passed you by, or that your past disqualifies you from living a meaningful future? Many women wrestle with questions of identity, worth, and calling. But here’s the truth: God created you with purpose and equipped you with power to walk it out.

The Bible is filled with reminders that women are not an afterthought in God’s Kingdom plan. In fact, His Word proves that you were designed to impact the world around you with unique gifts, wisdom, and strength.

Your Purpose is God-Ordained

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”

Your purpose was written long before you were born. You are not defined by your circumstances, mistakes, or struggles—your purpose is anchored in God’s eternal plan.

Like Esther, who was placed in the palace “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14), you too have been positioned right where you are to make a difference.

Your Power Comes from God

Sometimes we confuse “power” with self-sufficiency or control. But true power comes from the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8 reminds us: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…”

That power equips you to rise above fear, to walk in confidence, and to influence your family, workplace, and community with boldness. A woman clothed in God’s power can change the atmosphere around her.

Biblical Women Who Walked in Purpose and Power

  • Deborah (Judges 4:4–9): A judge and prophetess who led Israel with courage.
  • Ruth: Her loyalty and faith positioned her in the lineage of Jesus.
  • Mary Magdalene: Redeemed and restored, she became the first to proclaim the resurrection.

These women prove that your past, your gender, or your situation cannot limit what God wants to do through you.

Practical Steps to Walk in Your Purpose and Power

  1. Seek God daily (Matthew 6:33) – Spend time in prayer and His Word for clarity and strength.
  2. Write down your vision (Habakkuk 2:2) – Capture your dreams and goals so you can pursue them intentionally.
  3. Surround yourself with kingdom-minded women (Proverbs 27:17) – Community sharpens and strengthens you.
  4. Take bold steps of faith (James 2:17) – Purpose requires action, not just intention.
  5. Affirm your identity in Christ (Philippians 1:6) – Remind yourself daily: “God began a good work in me, and He will complete it.”

Final Encouragement

Romans 8:37 declares: “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Sis, you are not powerless. You are chosen, anointed, and destined for impact. Step into your God-given identity, live out your purpose with boldness, and walk in the power that is already inside of you.
